I agree with Milk, most good modern music sucks. But there is a little that is good. For some reason I like a lot of 80's music, but I like more modern ones as well.
For me, I don't have specific genres or time periods that I prefer. It's all down to the song itself.

My favourite song at the moment is Invoke by TM Revolution. I hate most techno music, even when it's Japanese, but this song itself is great, I dunno why. The lyrics just make it even better.
