Welcome back to this month's Writing competition!
The winner gets 10 karma, but you must follow the theme.
This month's theme is: Clocks and time[/color].
And can even just have a small reference to a clock or to time itself, as long as that is slotted in there somewhere.

Once upon a time,
A clock began to chime.
It had struck seven,
Or was it eleven?
It said to the mouse,
Down in its little house,
'Mr mouse my dear sir,
Did you clean your fur?'
Mr mouse then came out,
And said with a shout-
'Grandfather clock,
Is it me that you mock?
I am very clean,
Why are you so mean?
The grandfather clock was so very old,
He heard him wrong and so he told,
That poor little mouse who had snapped at him-
'HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT MY DAUGHTER KIM!!!'
No one knows what heard,
For his reply was quite absurd.
And up until this very day,
We remember him that way-
The absurd old Grandfather Clock.
I should work at Play-School...
