That is fucking ridiculous. I seriously don't think you know anything about cars, lets say this for example: by your first point, you are saying that all expensive cars are not worth getting when there are other cars that are many times cheaper. Here are a few points to ponder about this:
1. Amazingly, there is actually a difference between cars according to their prices. In short, in the world of cars, you get what you pay for. If you think there actually isn't a difference between like a Toyota Laser and a Shelby Mustang. Then you are either horrible misinformed, unable to accept the truth or a complete idiot.
2. Cars arn't just a mode of transport, like I said before, they are a collectors item, a leisure activity and a vital part of day-to-day life.
3. An expensive car is an investment. Owning a car worth $100,000 is like owning $100,000 in, lets say, property. A $10,000 car and a $100,000 is exactly like a $10 pair of soccer boots and a $100 pair of soccer boots. Who here would seriously say that they are the same except the price and how cool they look? If you've ever used soccer boots before, you'll know that more expensive boots just means that they'll last longer, be more comfortable and all around will WORK BETTER. Saying that the more expensive one would just pure and simply be a waste of money is just ignorant.

But Smallfry I have to disagree, I think the old Mustangs are less cool then new ones like the GT-500. Although the picture you posted was cool. Austin Martian. Very nice car.

Obviously, they're primary use is to get from 1 place to another, but besides from that, you say it also plays a vital part in day-to-day life, oh like what? Picking up chicks at clubs? Doing doughnuts in a dirt field?

Thats not what I ment and you know it. I'm saying cars in general are a part of day-to-day life see how I said "Cars are a part of day-to-day life" not "expensive cars are a part of day-to-day life. But having a car that is actually WORTH HAVING I'm saying is better than just saying "screw it; all cars are the same" because they arn't. Also, I think its kind of odd that you just brought to attention one comment in the entire post. I was kind of expecting an answer to all three, thats like going for 3 hi-fives and only getting one. Geez.

lolwut...I'm a girl that doesn't know much about cars....
I like Mazda, they are nice quite to drive (I have driven a few different cars) and they are fuel efficient well our Mazda 3 is...and they last a long time but that's for a mid range priced car...
