I used to learn piano, keyboard (there's a difference) and drums. I steered from drums as I went, I tried to play recently and I've lost it all  I suck at drums now. Now I play the keyboard/organ, piano and violin (violin and piano are my favourite instruments, not just to play (violins hurt my arm  ) but overall). By the way, if anyone was wondering, I considered keyboard and organ similar because they are. You both have two sets of keys (usually, sometimes keyboards have only one, but it's hard playing any song like that) and play them both simalarly. The keyboard is different from the piano as a piano is pianoforte, more notes, pitches, etc. Also the way you press pedals or notes influence greatly on a piano, unlike keyboard, and also the noptes on a piano are larger than keyboards. Before I had a piano, I did my AMEB piano exam practise on my kayboard, then when I went to my tutor it was really different and hard. Wow, that was a long post  |
