Ugh. Rushed. :/  Saya from Black Cat; Her Yukata represents Spring. (Sakura Flower print. Did a horrible job at the print, though. xD) I didn't use anything special, just a sketchy style. Unfortunately I can't get Paint.NET to work so I can color it in. ;-; |

Not at all.
Using a sheet of paper is much harder, especially if you don't have the right pens and pencils to do so. And even after drawing it with a pen or a pencil, they go onto a program and draw over it so it looks nicer. It's almost impossible to make a good manga without using any programs.
Most modern manga artists use special programs to make art now. I don't see the point of using a pen and pencil when my art is better on a computer using a damn mouse.
Not to mention, I really don't have the time, effort and money to buy fancy pens or paper that'll fit in the stupid scanner. =_='

Damn, I can only draw using pencil's I'm getting better tho I must admit, also carp I can't draw a bird on Paint.

Please don't praise me. ; ; I'm about to buy Paint Tool SAI. LOL
But I thank you. I'm used to only getting ratings from Deviantart, so I've never actually posted my art anywhere else except Gaia. But it's really the same for them, too. If you don't like it, you just pass on by and favorite some fancy art made by Photoshop or so. I really appreciate that.. People just think because it's made with bad tools, it's a bad art, even without looking at it. :/
