Okay, I decided to be more specific and did Winter, I made this absolutely on the spot:
A Winter's Dusk
I inhaled a frosty breath that sent chills down my cold, tired neck,
I carefully drifted, through the innocent snow,
To see a loved one, is my only true curse,
for my frostbitten car was lost.
The street loomed silently in the Winter's Dusk,
the freezing air lightly penetrated my squinting eyes,
I folded my arms, and tried to think of her, her warmth to my heart, hoping that was enough,
and as I got closer and closer to the white-covered house, it began to warm me more.
As my snow-filled feet trenched up the aching cemented path, my breaths turned into gasps,
I made it, I thought, with much anticipation, I am able to see her,
I coughed as my lungs tightened, slowly limping my way to the door...
I knocked...
...
And knocked...
And knocked once more...
...
...
No answer.
Tears were shed as my freezing knuckles knocked again and again, yet still no reply from her,
I turned around and desperately ran back, after stumbling on the iced path I fell onto a thick patch of snow,
my frail body piercing the ground, burrowing me inside,
She knew I was coming, I thought and hoped, thoughts rushing like water through my mind.
The frost closed in,
my lungs did too,
my freezing, agonizing breath was my last,
and as I closed my eyes, I thought of her...
She lives in warmth...
I die in Ice...
