Lancer turned casually over to Von, "what's it?" Everytime someone said that in every movie Lancer had seen, apart from Back to the Future, it always meant a stupid storyline plot that was in fact just a cleverly disguised red-herring, OR it was that the subject saying this was mental. He hoped that wasn't in this case, or that Von was with a nutter.

"the only person who has been on the bridge would be someone who needs to use it as a way of getting somewhere, and the bakery's bread get's traded everywhere around here, so they must of went over it recently, and that's why The Bridge killed the old baker!" von told him, it all made sense now, all they had to do was talk to the bakers wife...

((Damn I was expecting something a little less rushed. Oh well))
Lancer turned to Von. "We?" he probed, "who's the 'we' here? I work alone, always have, always will. I appreciate your little out-of-jail-free card but I... Just don't know" He tossed a piece of paper towards Von. "There's my number. I'll talk about it, but I don't wanna get sidetracked here..." Lancer hesitated, then began walking back off the bridge. Once or twice he'd turn back, but he still kept walking back to his apartment.

((oh, trust me, it will go longer than you think )) von picked his piece of paper up and looked at the number, than looked back up at Lancer, "stubborn hick" von murmured, he decided he was going to go talk to the widow of the bakery right away.
