I'd just like to say that I'm against Hex in the first post when he says "Macs are slow mostly" because they aren't.

Macs are not slow mostly, if you get that idea from our school network, ha ha, any computer would if it was given to a bunch of kindergartners and them told to "play games". Macs are very fast and very practical, Pcs are very difficult to get the hang of and and generally are slower. If all of us grew up with Macs instead of pcs we would probably all hate pcs, as mos of you guys have random predigest against macs.

You noobs. A Mac is a friggen PC anyway, I dunno why they say it's not. It's like them saying that an iPod isn't an MP3 player, people get screwed in the head sometimes. No operating system is built 'from scratch'. They are all built off Unix and whatnot. By PC I suppose you all mean Windows Operating Systems. Now, Biomanic is right. PCs are harder to get used to then Macs, and we all grew up with mostly Windows OSs so we find it easy or 'normal'. The Operating Systems are basically fit to your lifestyle. I personally like Windows better than Mac because I like stuffing around with DOS and command prompt, and Mac's Terminal sucks compared to them Macs will probably be better for a single person or possibly small family using for a computer. Windows is better for supporting Servers or networks with lots of people (that's why I think it's stupid that our school uses Macs A lot of schools use Windows). It's all a matter of opinion and/or lifestyle, I think.

I don't think that pcs are better for network connections, I have continous LAN (local network connection) parties, and We do most of them with pcs, Now we have everything up perfect, the network connections were perfect, The Ip addresses were perfect, And so on... We still Had issues with connections and Lagg. Pc can support network connections well, but not for a lot of computers at a time. We then tried The Macs and to tell the complete truth. The macs were Superior in every way possible. Sure the games we could play got as good as quake 3 arena (which is crap, Sorry all you nubs who believe it is the best game ever but... Try half life2, then lets see you say its better) And we got bored really soon, but there was no lagg, and no issues with connecting.
On another topic, Pc is much more fun/amusing for a person like me because I, like a lot, grew up with Pc, but unlike a lot, I do nothing else with my life practically, I love to mess around with the "Ye olde" DOS command prompt, Like Farrelei. Of course, That probably means nothing to any of you. Once again, Pc and mac are made for different things, No one can really say which is better, But! If you want fast internet, Good gaming capabilities and Technology that is complicated and fun, then use Pc, If you want simple everything but not great internet connections and gaming options, Go for Mac.
