And he HAS no frown. His face was torn off in a bloody pub attack. His son drowned the day after he died and his wife died of a broken heart. No-one knew their stories. Maybe Santa will visit their houses and fill their stockings. But there will be no milk and cookies for Santa. Or any carrot for the reindeer. The beds will not be occupied and warm. And the night will be silent indeed.
