((Lol, sorta a delayed reaction there XD))
"We-" Siberius closed Violet's mouth, stopping her from talking, "So what's the plan then?" Siberius asked.

"Any idea where they are?" Vendarn asked Bowen, turning around as he did and beginning to walk to his ship. He motioned for Bowen to follow. Fern looked from Violet to Siberius, examining them. She vaguely glanced over Severon, but he didn't particularly interest her, so she, after giving Siberius a final stare, walked past the two and to the edge of the clearing, peering through the trees.

"They know they have a good place to hide so the Thurguals won't be expecting a full frontal attack. So we arn't going to do that. If we come in all guns blazing using special pre-meditated techniqes they are gonna know something is up, so they'll probably kill Recko before we can get to him. So I suggest we make it seem accidental, a large scout group looking for survivours from the crash hear noise and come across their base. They will need to rush over and fight, because a scout group would have a good chance of fleaing, and their leader, Burtauk, wouldn't have that. If any scouts get back to Central... Well, from past experiances I would assume Burtauk still isn't ready to take on Central's grand army. So a small group meets them a the front of their base, they won't be to worried about it but then we back it up with more troops. Severon, Siberius and I can hold our own. We'll go around the back and find Recko. The operation needs to be quick. After 7 and a half minutes, pull out. Now, get your troops debreifed. The four of us still need to eat, and not some of this DAWN Team compacted crap."
((Does it seem odd to anyone else that Siberius has known Violet all of 5 days and he's ready to sign her up for a war? Seriously? Jk Claw, I'm jk.))

Vendarn stretched, "Could you cause a diversion? Instead of fighting them first, you could have a diversion out the front, the scouts could ask the Thurguals if they know anything about the missing DAWN Team members. You and Severon could then sneak inside and grab your leader ((if this was what you were implying, forgive me, as it didn't make that much sense)). After you guys are already inside, we could rush in with reinforcements and free the scouts out front, then gradually taken over the base one section at a time, always one step behind you. You'll probably find your leader in no time, and we'll have most of the base by then anyway. Sound good to you?"

Bowen got slightly impatiant. "No. That's not what I want, because firstly, our scouts will not be able to simply walk up and start having a chat to the Thurguals, because if they see humans, especialy humans in army uniforms they will do one of two things, kill them on sight, or capture them and torture them for imformation. Secondly, as soon as we attack, they will realise that we have come to rescue Recko and kill him, they won't risk not getting their revenge, provided they havn't killed him already. This is the reason I want Severon, Siberius and I to go in and you cause the diversion. Because 3 men will be quicker then 10. Now I'm not going to tell you again. The diversion caused will be from your men, Severon, Siberius and I will sneak into the camp and save Recko while the diversion is being caused. Oh, and I don't care how many troops you have, we definatly cannot and will not attempt to take the base. We go in, we find Recko, we escape, and we pull back. Understand? Don't question me High Officer. Its obvious you don't know what your dealing with here". Bowen snapped his last words, his brother was probably being tortured right now, Bowen didn't have time for this.
Recko was in a lot of pain and was delirous, he had had no food or water for 2 days and was very cold. He could barely move with his bonds so tight. Something stirred near him, he felt a seering pain, Recko was kicked in the side, it was Burtauk. "Guess what Recko, I have good news. We don't have any need for you here, it seems one of your companions knew all we needed to know... And more. Ironic, really, that we spent hours and hours torturing you so you would talk, and we only needed 2 hours for one of your friends... So unfourtunaly for you. This is the end of the line. I'll be back Recko, soon".

Vendarn burst out laughing at Bowen's last sentence. He breathed out a sigh as he calmed himself, and arched his neck up to the sky. Without a word, he pressed a button on the ship's control panel, "Location so far, please? We've rescued the Vizier, but he says he's not leaving until we kick some mutant ass for him. Sounds fair enough I guess, risking a few hundred lives for his." He released the talk button and waited for the reply... After about 10 seconds had passed in silence, his face stiffened, "This is High Officer Elliot Vendarn, can you hear me troops?" Still no reply? Vendarn sat down this time, and tapped a few controls, "This is the solo tank containing Vendarn and the Empress here. Do you hear me Bjorn?" "This is the Bjorn, we hear you" "Where are the troops you sent out?" "Just a moment, sir, let me get a location" Vendarn frowed as the connection was temporarily severed.
Back at the Bjorn, Head Technician for the mission, Essel, tapped in the codes needed for the troops. "Darned Officers" he cursed softly to himself, "when will they learn to do the easy stuff themselves?" "This is Command on Bjorn, you you read me Troops?" No reply... "What the? Do you read me?" Still no reply... "Odd. All technicians can you scout for the troops we sent out?"
Vendarn tapped his foot as he waited for the reply, which came back crackling, "This is Command on Bjorn, Vendarn are you there?" "This is Vendarn, where's the troops?" "I can't get onto them automatically. There may be a problem. I have the technicians scouting for them manually, it will take another few minutes at the most" "I can wait" Vendarn replied uneasily....
It was Iza's 10th time sent out for an actual mission. Of course, she wasn't expecting much, but the opportunities kept coming. It hurt a little when the enemy shocked her, tearing her right arm from it's place. And of course, she was a tad worried when her comrade's ships were blown up, and a few screaming survivors torn from the wreckage. But it hurt even more as they slowly tore her eyes out of her sockets, all the while screaming. She admired the men, they'd all kept quiet so far, and they'd already died. All of them. But she couldn't hold it. As the clamps began to tug at the second eye, and her vision was severed, she talked. It was all she could do. The torture was fast, not slow. And she didn't want to die... So she talked, grasping that last opportunity at life...
They killed all the rest of the hostages they'd captured. They didn't need the extra company when they had one that talked as much as this one did. And they were quite happy to keep her, too. And they fed her some of the leftovers that were scattered about the floor. You gotta keep a good hostage healthy, after all.

((WTF? I'm serious Farrelei Bowen is pissed and is obviously the High Command here, if you just laughed at your superior when he gave you a direct order you would have yourself kikced out, pronto. Or in a case like this, shot. You obviously don't realise that Bowen's brother and Severon's best friend is getting tortured so I am seriously considering shooting one of your characters. Accept it, we are talking about the army.))
Bowen was too angry to put things into words, but for an inferior to laugh at a direct order? This is blaitent treason! Bowen thought. "How dare you?!" Severon cut in, echoing Bowen's thoughts, "What do you think this is?! Summer camp?! Our people are getting tortured and dying, and you stand here willing to dishoner your superior? You need to learn the ways of the army becuase now you can expect to get dishonerably discharged if you don't do some serious good work... Or maybe you'd prefer to go home with a Purple Heart?" Severon sniped, he put his left hand closer to his holster. "Please, Severon", Bowen said, only diplomatic because he had to be, he turned to Vendarn, "Severon is right, our people are dying, I don't care how many troops we have, but we have about 5 minutes before I call the mark to go. Understand? Now hurry, because its true, your going the right way for a discharge, and I have the power to make that happen".

Vendarn shook his head, will these clowns shut up? The tapping became quicker as his patience narrowed.
She opened her eyes. The beautiful morning sunrise bathed the area around her in beauty. She turned to her right, but Rine was gone. She turned her head quickly from left to right. "Oh no..." "Savannah!" came a young boy's cry, and she spun around to see him running back towards her, smiling. She stood up and smiled also.
"This turnover is beautiful!" Savannah exclaimed as she filled her mouth, sitting in the same spot she slept in the clearing. Rine smiled brightly as he ate. Mother... he thought to himself. ((No, this is not some tie-in, she is NOT his mother. I'm just pointing this out so I don't get flamed >.>* He's just calling her his mother because he's an orphan and wants one))
"I think I've found one, sir" Essel spun round in his head and walked over to the mechanic. "There's only feedback, but I can determine it's position..." "Everyone type in these co-ordinates!" Essel ordered, and everyone abaondoned what they were doing to do so. "Sir, we receive a signal but there's only fuzziness. It's probably broken" "There are no more in the vicinity, sir" "Just one, huh? I think we have some bad news for the High Officer..."
Vendarn sighed as the conversation ended and turned back towards the Vizier and Severon, this time with a serious look about him. "I know where they are, but... It's not looking good"

Bowen cursed, "Brilliant. Just brilliant. We'd have more luck calling in DAWN Officials, leave them, our men will be here in under 3.5 minutes". Bowen nodded at Severon, when it came to DAWN Team matters, Severon, being Second-in-command, outranked Bowen. Severon opened up a telecom feed line that went back to the DAWN Team HQ, he hadn't had it on before because it was much to loud to keep it live when he was right next to enemy lines. "This is Commando Tango 3371 requesting assistance, correct co-ordinants and send as many as you can out here within 5 minutes", Severon ordered. "Commander?" the voice came back, "we have Commander Severon ((they call him and Recko Commander)) on a MIA, can you verify your safety?", "Yes I can but that doesn't matter, we have about 30 DAWN Commando's out here in this big arse forset and we are requesting back-up, we are attempting a recon mission to save Commander Recko who has been captured. We need those back-up troops ASAP, understand?" "Copy that Commander, we have your co-ordinates, in under 5 minutes we can get 6 teams to your position. Do you have a preferance and what are your orders for approch?" said the communication, "Yes I do. The teams I want on this mission are; Whiplash 1, Raptor 5, Raptor 8, Whiplash 3, Battleship 4 and Battleship 9. Approch with caution and anti-detection systems on." Severon said, "Rodger that Commander teams will arrive at your postion in 4.3 minutes." "Commander Severon out". Severon switched off the telecom and retured to Bowen, "We need 4.3 minutes". Bowen nodded gravely. This was going to be a really hard day.

Vendarn smirked, stood and stared Bowen in the eye, "Vizier, do you mind getting off my ship then? I'll rescue my troops then while you play your little chess game"
Eleanore had just sat down and began shuffling papers. She was tired, but she still managed. Something was on her mind... Damnit... Why did he have to enter my life? I... I was happy to die. For a moment... I think I was dead. But he... I couldn't die... He was there. She sighed and slowly put the papers back down, Everything would have been better.... If I'd never met Bowen. ...But I did. She pulled out the Vizier's records and begun looking through them. She was only skimming through, she really couldn't be bothered.... Her mind was elsewhere. Suddenly the doors opened, and she quickly stashed the report under her desk and sat upright. "Empress, Father McKenzie is waiting" Safroth announced. She nodded and made a polite motion for him to exit the room. Bowen... I don't want you back... But I can never stop thinking about you. "Why the fuck did I have to meet you!?" ((No, she still loves him. She's just angry that she allowed herself to love someone))
Savannah sat with Rine, overlooking the plains of Edenia many miles below them. "So what will we do now?" he asked, "I... Don't know. My friend, Link... He's gone off somewhere. He'll be back shortly though, and he'll know what to do. He's always been there for me, ever since that day I awoke" There was a small silence between the two. "...Why us?" Rine questioned, "Why did we lose our memories on that day? I wonder sometimes... What happened to my parents?" "...I don't see that as important anymore. We've lost our pasts, there's no point trying to piece them back together... We have to live" Rine lowered his head, not speaking, "Rine..." "Yes?" he spoke softly, raising his head just a little, "Let me be your mother"
The Empress walked with the Father along the main road leading to the Palace in Immestrial. Many guards were either side of her, but she didn't like having too many. They distracted her and crammed her thoughts. As they reached the small chapel, she dismissed the guards around her and most of them went to pub nearby. The Father walked stiffly down the corridors of the chapel, pondering, "So, Empress... Have you made up your mind about the Fuhrer?" The Empress shut her eyes for a moment and stopped walking with the Father. When he stopped too, and turned around, she spoke, "The people... Have come to know and to hate the Fuhrer. Always... There is something about that particular individual every time... That the people do not appreciate" "Then what do you suggest?" the Father questioned, showing a clear look of disapproval on his face, "...I think that rather then discard the Fuhrer... We should change it" The Father's eyes widened, causing many more wrinkles on his face to ripple outwards as he did. "Father... I have a list of changes I want for the second in command of our Empire. Rather then be a military figure, why not make him a... Representative of the people. He should be one that symbolises community and peace..." She went on for a very long ti,e the Father not showing any other emotion whatsoever. They talked and talked all morning.

((I'm back guys...))
Siberius looked over to Violet, he always felt a little uncomfortable when two people have loud fights in front of him, "Violet, Are you sure you want to do this? I mean, what you said earlier DID make sense, but you could lose your life out there," Siberius told her, "Siberius, I'm better off with you then out here by myself, besides, I can be some help to you guys," She replied. Siberius nodded gravely, then thought about everyone and everything he had left behind, and now, it's all coming back, Although I've had really bad memories...I've had some good ones too, He realized, He remembered Eleanore, and saying goodbye to his Father, being honoured to represent the nation, Siberius came to a realization...He was ready to go back to Central, and he was ready to turn over a new leaf.

Voices.... Step... By step... He trudged on... Through the forest. He heard them, he kept deathly still... Listening...
He came closer, creeping, until he got a view. And he saw him there... And pounced out of the shrubbery and into the clearing, right for Siberius.

((Omigosh!! He's back!!! )) Bowen nodded once and turned, he motioned to Siberius and Severon and they left. "How long have we got", Bowen asked Severon. He looked at his watch, "They should be here in fourty-eight seconds", Severon replied. Fourty seconds later a voice came in on Severon's telecom. "Approching your position Commander... Ok we have a visual, turning off cloaking systems". Severon looked up and 6 airships suddenly appeared above them, the ship's were deathly quiet and touched down to the ground within 8 seconds. Corp. Starsheild ((He's back betches)), recently promoted, was the new leader of team Whiplash 1 and was Severon's preferance overall of the team leader's, he was reliable, brave and a good leader. Severon frequently told him that he saw a DAWN Team Commander in him. But the main reason why Severon picked him and the other 5 team leader's that he had picked was that all of those men and their teams had faced Thurgual's before, and all were about to again. Bowen breifed them on their plan of attack. There were 120 men there that day, not nearly enough. But Bowen was determained, and his determination forced him to become the best leader he could be. At times, his thoughts flew back to Central, back to the love of his life, Eleanore, Empress Eleanore. But now was the time of duty, his brother was in danger, and so were 20 DAWN Team Commandos. Bowen cleared his mind, and was ready.

((Ergh. You completely ignored Montecore pouncing on Siberius -.- And starshield's back, eh...? *Gets out shotgun ;P*))
Fern had just begun walking back when suddenly a noise sounded from behind her. She spun around as fast as she coudl to see a blur of white tackling Siberius to the ground. "Ex-Vizier!!" she exclaimed as she recognised a tiger upon him. She spun her head around violently, "Vendarn! Vendarn!" He had just started the ship back up again, and to be honest, he was eying the airships with jealousy. He knew the DAWN Team had it's advantages, but the army was only supplied with one small airship, and it was only a prototype. If he been given some airships perhaps none of this would have happened. He decided then that he didn't like Bowen in the slightest. He'd have time for thinking about that later, though. Suddenly he heard Fern's cries for help and he swept out of the ship and raised his gun towards the tiger.

((Yeah I was thinking that lol XD))
Siberius watched as his old friend Montecore pounced on him, several thoughts ran through his mind, Could this be real? Am I dreaming this? The last time we were together...was on the Phoenix that day...when Diabora came, but, didn't the Phoenix crash into them? How did they survive? Siberius thought, thinking there was no logical explanation((Thats TPOP for you)).
Siberius shook away those thoughts, he didn't care if it was logical or not, he was thrilled to see his friend again, Siberius held close to Montecore, shedding a tear as he felt his heart beating... "Montecore..." Siberius whispered, at that time, all of Siberius' problems flew away with the wind, all that mattered to him at that moment was that he had found his closest, and dearest friend that he missed so gravely over several months.
