Kyou closed his eyes, Vivian, you know civilians aren't allowed inside the Organisation building. "Very well, then. Let's walk."
They approached the building, and Kyou knocked. The slit at the side of the door opened from the inside, and if you looked closely you may have been able to see an eye peer quickly out the door before the slit shut again. A moment passed before the door was then opened, "Welcome back, Sire." Kyou entered the building, and the doorkeepers greeted Vivian in the same fashion. Kyou tilted his head slightly to see that they were staring after Shelrair. "A recruit, eh?" one of the doorkeepers asked lightly, "No. A guest." Their faces seemed more confused, but Kyou continued to walk on. The first floor of the building was completely deserted apart from those two at the door. It was purposely designed to contain many corridors and staircases leading nowhere, but the members of the Organisation knew the true entrance. There were also few entrances to other branches of the Organisation. Kyou stopped suddenly and turned, "Shall we take a shortcut to the meeting building, Vivian?"

Mini stared at the palace for an hour or so ten started pacing around the building looking for a ventilation shaft or anything like one. Mini looked up and saw an open window about 10 metres above him. Mini pulled out the grappling hook((I'll modifie my post before so it makes sense)) and tied it onto some rope. Mini swung the rope and tossed it at the window. It didn't hold very well since when he started to climb he fell. "Ouch, my back." Mini said to himself.Mini stood up and tossed the hook at the window and this time it was on tight. Mini climbed up and looked at the room. It was an empty hall. Mini climbed over the window sill and walked into the middle of the hall. "Tap-tap-tap" Mini looked at his noisy shoes and sighed in frustration then took them off. Mini looked around the hall for a couple of minutes when he saw a ventilation shaft near the bottom corner of the hall. Mini opened it with a crow bar and started crawling through the narrow shaft. Mini kept going until he came across a dead end. Mini could see some stairs through the gaps so he pulled out the crowbar and levered shaft open. "Much better." Mini said to himself and started walking down the stairs passed the first floor and down to the basement. There was an old metal door, with dents all over it, with two guards in front of it. Mini headed back up the stairs when he saw a little red box on the wall. It said in big black letters "FIRE ALARM break glass" A big smile grew on Mini's face. Mini pulled out a hammer and hit the glass. A loud alarm was screaming out of all the speakers in the palace. Thousands of people evacuated the building. The only people left were a couple of guards near the door, leading the last couple of people out of the building, and Mini standing at the basement door holding a crow bar. Mini started hitting the door with the crow bar trying to brake through the old metal door but only put a couple of dents in it. Mini started using different tools like a hammer, a small blunt axe, a spanner and even a screw driver but none of them could do anything to the metal door. He pulled out the grappling hook and stepped back a bit so he could throw it at the door but did nothing. Mini sat down and tried to think. Mini looked over at the rope and saw the small key attached to the rope. "Maybe the reason the door had dents all over it, before I touched it, was because someone else tried to get in." Mini thought to himself. "What if the palace couldn't even get into it because someone stole the key." Mini grabbed the key and gently put the rusty key in the door. Mini turned it and the door opened. ((bet you didn't expect that ; D))Mini's eyes widened. Mini pulled the door and there was a dark room filled with benches and science equipment. There was a bench in the corner of the room with a lamp and a pile of papers on it. Mini turned the lamp on and started flicking through the pieces of paper. Mini stared at one page for a minute or so. Mini folded it up and stuck it in his pocket then kept flicking through the pages. "I found it!" Mini yelled. "Oi, who's there?" a someone said. Mini put the page in his back pack and ran out of the room. "Who's down there?" The person asked. "Uhh, do you know where my dad is?" Mini said while running up the stairs. "I'm lost." Mini now could see the man walking down the stairs. Mini then stopped running. "Have you seen my dad?" Mini asked. "Well his probably out side." The man said. "Ok thanks." Mini said and headed for the door. Outside was a man staring at Mini. "Hello Mini, Vivian told me to get you." The man said. "Well I've got the blue prints." Mini said. "Excellent." The man said. "Now follow me to the headquarters."

((Lol, nice post! Only problem is that there are no fire alarms in the Palace (it's a mostly mediaeval world), BUT the Palace was already evacuated except for a few guards because of the incident last night so the rest of your post made sense anyway if you just take out the fire alarm. The rest is fine. Lol, Mini's some kind of ninja orphan))
Safroth sighed. He wished he was the one staying down in the Chapel instead, but it was a choice he made personally, and he just had to stick with it. A man dressed in worker's clothing passed him with what appeared to be his son ((Mini)) following behind him. "Excuse me," Safroth grabbed the man's attention. The man turned around, feeling a bit of a sweat on his forehead as he did, "Yes?" "Are you a worker here?" "Ahh, that's right. I'm just using my break time to take my son back home for the day now." "I was informed no minors would be in the Palace grounds at this time, civilian. The guards would have made sure of that, would they not?" The man tightened his grip on Mini's hand. "Let's go over to the Records Desk at the checkpoint and see where you're marked off on the list, shall we?"
The man led Mini towards the desk with Safroth escorting them both. Safroth spoke with the officials at the desk for a moment and then addressed the man, "Names?" "John Weathen," the man replied. The officials took a minute going through a list of names before nodding, "Confirmed. And the child?" "And this is... My son, Myrn Weathen," with this, the man deliberately patted Mini's back in a consoling manner. This kid better go along with this... The officials checked through the list, for several long minutes before talking lightly among themselves and turning to Safroth, "No-one under the name Myrn Weathen appears on our list, Vizier." John laughed, "Maybe you just overlooked him." "No, sir, we don't overlook. We seperate easch individual here at the desk and check all their equipment before allowing them to pass through. No-one would have been overlooked." Safroth frowned and examined the pair thoroughly. "Get the detention papers." John's eyes widened, "You can't! He came in here with no problem earlier!! You can't just-" "You aren't in any trouble yet, Mr. Weathen. We're simply recording your details for further investigation. You're free to leave once you fill out these forms. The man perspired some more before being presented with forms asking for contact details and place of residency. John wrote Mini's fake name, Myrn Weathen, and indicated the two lived together. Then they left.
John turned to Mini as they were out of Palace grounds, "Damnit, kid... You coulda helped me out there..."
((Note: Smallfry, if you want, you can make John a main character, but he's just an NPC here. By the way, it will be interesting now to see where this turns out... Maybe Mini will be forced to live with the Weathen's and be a bigger part of the Descendants due to what John wrote on the papers, or maybe he could formally go to Adira's orphanage and adopt Mini that way. -Shrugs-))

"Yes, of course, but we aren't in any hurry, I assure you," Vivian told Kyou rather graciously, Vivian eyed the room to every last detail, and almost chuckled at their progress compared to his, but noted the similarities.
Shelrair noticed what Vivian was doing, ...He's recording everything, why would he do that? She thought to herself.

(( it's a mostly mediaeval world but what about the space ships? I think it would be all right. Yea I made the profile and I'll PM it to you)) "Sorry about that." Mini said. "I've never been good at talking to authority." "Ok, well you better stay with me until we work out what to do." John said. "From now on your Myrn Weathen my son, you got that?" "Yep, Dad." Mini said and smiled. "Hey! Were anly doing that when people are around." "Sorry, you see I've never had a real or fake Dad." Mini said. "Well you'll only have a fake Dad for now." John said.

They walked down a few halls and up to the door leading to Kyou's private meeting room. He didn't have the key, but he couldn't be bothered and unlocked it using aura ((note that, as Crillic mentioned in SFTS, those that practiced aura in ancient days find it rude and unhealthy to use their myst/aura abilities on simple things such as this)). He was concerned about Vivian's sudden intentions. There was an aura about him that didn't feel quite normal. As they entered, Kyou dampened his lightcloth in the yesterberry jar in it's usual place on the wall before lighting the flaretorch to his left. He then used this to move about the room and light the candles inside. When he was done, he positioned the torch back in it's usual spot and motioned for the two of them to have a seat. The room was small, yet cozy. It was also filled with piles of papers and books that were not all very neat. "Forgive the condition of the room, I was not aware I'd be holding a meeting here today."

((Adds John Weathen to the front page character list; owned by Smallfry. There are flying ships, but they're like planes (except designed differently), and are very very new technology that run on Energy (Myst), which was only just discovered in the last year. The Palace has had no changes with this energy apart from the Dawn Team buildings below the floor. Anyway it's not a big deal anymore. Don't forget to help out and crap once in a while, peoples ))

"No, that's quite alright, we won't be staying for long, although, I haven't seen you for quite some time, how has the organisation been going?" Vivian asked curiously to his old comrade whilst sitting himself in one of the chairs. Shelrair quietly sighed and sat down as well, hoping that the conversation would be the least bit exciting.
Siberius looked over to Savannah, who was ungratefully finding the whole breakfast feast in quite bad taste, "How was your sleep?" He asked, attempting to establish a conversation, "I was going to send Montecore into your room to keep you warm but a guard down the hall told me to go back to my room...I wonder why..."
"So...let me get this straight..." Violet asked the maidservants who were sitting on small chairs using a large crate for a table, beneath the main floor of the Chapel, "We're in here, eating the leftovers and badly cooked food that the Cooks found unfit for people to eat, and everyone else is upstairs, having a feast of all kinds of well cooked foods for breakfast?" "Uh-huh!" One of the maidservants replied, "This food isn't as bad as the cooks said it was," Said another.
"That's...completely unfair, didn't you girls want something more than just a few bad bits of fish, bruised apples and runny eggs?" Violet asked, observing the items on her plate with disgust. "Well...I did want some of that beef...but another Maidservant ended up grabbing it just before I did..." One of the Maidservants whom she was talking to said, Violet rolled her eyes, almost chuckling, before resuming her breakfast meal.

Kyou eyed the two skeptically, "It's been business as usual, dear Vivian. Tell me, you've been busy lately, have you not? It seems your lifestyle is becoming more and more... How should I put it... Seperate perhaps... From the Organisation." He eyed Shelrair fully once more through the flickering candlelight the room was bathed in, giving a nice orange colour to it, one that Kyou felt personally at ease with, especially when he was alone. Something about Shelrair's eyes seemed less-than-friendly, although she was acting her part well, if that's what she was doing. Kyou sighed, "And Vivian, please don't tell me this woman is 'just an acquaintance. You know there's been trouble with outsiders within Serenfas in the past. If she's not even close to you why did you bring her here? Unless there's something you aren't telling me, of course?"
Fern continued to sleep. Well, kind of. She kept waking and sleeping, waking and sleeping all day. She was sure it was the effects of the previous night, but she was so darn angry at everyone and everything that she just didn't care about feasts and fish leftovers. Occasionally, some mongrel of a maidservant or priest or something would enter the room whilst Fern was awake, and every time they just so happened to check on her. "Oh Ferny-poo, you are alriiiiight??" "Dear lady, are you feeling up-to-standard this morning?" "I brought you some banana... It's a little battered, but..." Most of the time Fern just pretended to sleep (badly), but occasionally she'd give them that "Just shut up now or I'll get my mace out, I will" stare that frightened the heck out of most of them because she was usually a happy little thing.
Well, days had looked better, anyway. Especially for Bowen. Because of security issues, he wasn't even allowed to go outside. Occasionally he thought he would, just to spite them, but he was already in the bad books with Eleanore. Or so he thought, anyway. So he just paced through the halls, occasionally chatting and making acquaintance with a guard, priest, maidservant, or two. But the day was passing slowly at the Chapel, after it's eventful start, anyway.
Life seemed to be heading in a different direction. All the guests in the Chapel knew that. McKenzie sat in the almost-empty assembly hall, where priests of the Auder once told stories of the Eies and preached to the people of the Empire. Those days had been abolished long ago, but McKenzie remembered the times when he was little, and listening to those stories with the other children of the Auder. Religion had been banned from public discussion for a while, but privately it could be practised, however it gave the image of a cult-like society hidden away within the walls of Immestrial. Outside of Central, certain religions were allowed in certain states and nations only, each with their own laws approved by the Emperors and Empresses of their time. However, with the rule of Zan Trinahl, mentor to Sei's father Niler, religion was strictly prohibited in every occurence throughout Immestrial.
Eleanore had already relieved these laws publicly throughout most foreign nations and states of Immestrial, however the Auder was the only religion allowed in Central at the time. McKenzie had been granted the ability to preach and publicly discuss issues of the Auder once more, however he had not yet begun any of this/ His mind was on other things. One by one, the Auder's teachings are falling into place. Surely Harvery must see this now... It is why she has allowed our teachings once more. Such a naive woman, though. With experience, she will learn of her mistakes and their consequences...

"Theres the house we'll be staying in for a little while." John said and pointed at an old house. "Its not much but rain cant get in... most of it... well the right side is rain proof" "Its heaps cool!" Mini said with excitement. "Can I choose my room?" "Of course you can choose your room. You can change rooms each night If you want to... But you cant have my room. I've already chosen mine." John opened the door. There was mould and cobwebs everywhere and vines going up the walls. "Uhh... Wow." Mini said puzzeled. "Did you choose this place?" "No, Vivian chose it because its close to the headquarters... and its cheap.'' ((forgot what the place is called so I'll just say vivian said it. modifie i if you want)) John picked up a maat and threw it at Mini. "Thats your bed." John said. "I'll get your sleeping bag and pillow later." Mini sighed and walked off.

Vivian sighed, "You're right," He answered, "Shelrair and I...We're engaged," Holding out his hand to reveal a ring attached to his finger, "We didn't want to tell anybody, sort of...a surprise, please don't tell anyone, Kyou, it'll be a hazard if it gets out, many people, her parents especially, aren't exactly approving of this marriage."
Shelrair nodded, and placed her hand onto his knee, giving it a slight rub to kind of go along with it, but she enjoyed it regardless. "My sister..." Shelrair finally spoke, "Died during the Demon's Reign about 6 to 7 months ago, she was engaged just like I am now," Shelrair told him, twiddling a ring attached to her hand as well, "I'm the only daughter they have left, and they're a bit over-protective..."
"Yes, it was a tragedy for many," Vivian replied. The rain's heavy drops increased, further darkening the sky and soaking the Earth's inhabitants...

((Thanks :3 You can also post with Adira, remember?))
Kyou noticed the ring and smiled, "I thought it was unlike you to dabble in such affairs, Vivian. Well, I do say this surprises me..." He sighed, "Though I hope, Shelrair, that you understand that this Organisation is top secret within the Imperial ranks ((which it isn't because it has nothing to do with the Empire)). Vivian has no doubt already alerted you to such matters, but I must stress the importance of this fact."
With that, Rine sat back in his seat, a little relaxed, "So, Vivian, what exactly did you come here to talk about? You won't be leaving us, will you? I understand that your lifestyle has changed now, but you're one of our finest men here at Serenfas ((a.k.a the Organisation))." Rine was being true to his word when he said this. He deeply admired Vivian and his works. Vivian was... A creative one. He'd heard rumours of other endeavours Vivian was heard to be striving for, however Kyou remained steadfast in his trust with him. It's true they weren't so much more than acquaintances, but then again, Kyou wasn't really much more than acquaintances with anyone.
The rain soaked him, now freezing. He had returned to the spot he slept in that night, as he knew no-one would risk their chances there in the pouring rain. It was enough rain to flood a port town, and even under the veil of the forest trees, Rine was being attacked by it's relentless, heavy drops. More and more he felt as though the world was trying to swallow him, as though it had committed some kind of horrendous sin for allowing him to exist upon it. Existence... He still had no answers. His time hunting for food was short, and he'd only managed nibbles of things he'd rather have never attempted to eat in the first place. "Everybody has treated me like an animal... Now even... Savannah. She... She's not my mother... She hated me... I saw that, too..."
Lilly's eyes opened a crack and she turned her head ever-so-slightly. "Inspiration..."
