Oddly friendly for an assassin. "...Thanks for your hospitality." Kyou ignored the gesture and raised himself up on his own. "And if it was indeed this Brotherhood that assasinated Geovis, you have already proved your boldness. The main assasains involved were killed by the Empire, and the remaining members that weren't involved were imprisoned.
Therefore, kind sir, as you did nothing, I owe you for nothing but your hospitality." He smiledas he said this, despite his choice of words, and touched at the bandages to make sure they were well-dressed. "Oh... And about us not meeting again... I'm going to need a place to stay as I'm not exactly in the good books with the Imperial Higher-ups after this morning, and I'm sure they all want me dead back at headquarters right now, for it seems even my closest friends have betrayed me. If your mission is indeed to kill me, you would undoubtedly have done so by now, so as soon as you give me your full name, I'll trust you. However, I suppose what I'm asking for is a temporary hideout, if at all possible..."

((In case you are wondering, Kitharis thinks about himself a lot =D))
"My name is... Kitharis Sethris. And yes. It was the Brotherhood. I was involved... But indirectly. There were no records left... I was to secure building plans as part of my training."
Hmmm... I could always share this place with the Sire... I see no problems... Until the parties searching begin to get closer...
"It would be safest for you to stay here, it seems... You should know, there are others after me as well. This place may not be safe for long. The bedrooms are up the the hallway, up the stairs, and are arranged along the right... If you need any... Things... For if any unwanted guests come, the middle cupboard contains equipment for use of the Brotherhood... I doubt you would need it, seeing as you would not be the Sire if you were not capable..."
Hmm... I should get food... It will be dark soon...
"I will have to leave to get dinner before it gets dark, but before I leave... I would like to know... What is your name? Oh yes... And do you have any preferences? It won't be anything compared to what you are used to, I'm afraid..."
((Could you post Kitharis leaving through the door or window or whatever after you have replied?))

((Okay?))
"Of course." Kyou nodded in agreement as Kitharis spoke, finally opening his mouth, "My name is Vivian Waurd." If he gets questioned there's no way I can be found this way. They'll ask him who the Sire is and he'll say Vivian.. "I don't mind, I'm not entirely hungry..." As Kitharis left, Kyou found himself immediately change as the atmosphere shifted between tense yet friendly to simply tense. "People are after him already, too, apparantly... Then I can't stay here long either. But I have to watch and strike back at Vivian's heels when the time is exactly right, or I'll blow the conspiracy... I need to find out what their exact aspirations are, and I need to do it with the utmost caution..."

Vivian Waurd... Heh... Well it's a name I can call him by, anyway...
Kitharis ran down a street, thanking the rain pouring down...
I guess it would be advisable to move houses after tonight... There is a much safer drain safe-house...
Kitharis stepped in to an inn, and, walking up to the bar, caught the eye of the innkeeper...
"Could I have Mr. Robinson's box, please? Once you hand it over, you may open the envelope without reprisal..."
The innkeeper glanced up, saw the look in Kitharis's ((?)) eye, and pulled an old box from under the bench, then pulled an old envelope from on top of it. He found a bankers check worth 10 gold pieces, stamped and signed from a well respected banker, Johnson Smith.
The innkeeper glanced up to say thank you, but Kitharis had already left...
Kitharis went through a side street, then came out in to the trade district. He started to head to a quick take-away meat stall, but he saw a green-grocers first... He walked through the crates of fruit, grabbing two paper bags, and filling one with apples and one with lime. He walked to the counter.
"Just the apples and limes, thank you." Said Kitharis. "Eight silvers... You like expensive limes, I see..." Kitharis handed over the money, and grinned at the green-grocer, before trudging back to the meat stall.
"We've been going house to house for quite a while now, sir! But we've found no trace of him!" Said the guardsmen. "Well look harder! This man is wanted for conspiracy to high treason!" The captain then waved along the street that the old Brotherhood hideout stood, and the troops began to walk to the first house...
Kitharis wrapped the meat up, tying it to his side, and doing the same with the apples, then, after taking a lime out, the same with them as well. Kitharis dug his finger under the skin of the lime, creating a place to bite in to...
The guard captain personally knocked on the fist house.
"Form up in to squads of three! You two! Come with me!" He motioned to his two most experienced soldiers to form up with him.
A very shocked mother opened the door, was shown a search warrant, and pushed aside... The search would go slowly, seeing as there were only four groups, bur they were confident they would find the culprit...
I wish we were assigned more men for this...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kitharis finished his lime, running back the way he came, hoping he would get back beofre the meat went cold...
"Savannah," Siberius called, "Me and Montecore are going to go out and get some food for lunch today, do you want to come with us?" He offered. The rain continued to pour, it was trickling from the rooftops, and flooding the alleyways of Central...
Trale sat at Vivian's desk, he laid back and looked up, the brickwork above him was black-green as always, and moss and grown around the edges, courtesy of the environment down in the Tunnels. Trale looked through the drawers of the desk, papers were stuffed in it and were sticking out of the drawers to an extent that made them look almost as if they were defying gravity, Trale was disgusted and shut the drawer again, Never would I leave my office in such a state,Trale thought. He opened the second drawer, more papers were piled up, but underneath them, something heavy and pointy had struck Trale's shuffling hands, after lifting the papers up, it revealed to be a quite large handgun, it's bullets were rather large too, it could probably pierce walls straight through with enough precision.
Trale put the large handgun beside him on the desk and then excavated the rest of the drawer, a small photo had come into view, it was smudged and burnt around the edges, but the image was still mostly clear. It was Vivian. And Asmoday. Both children. They both wore rather formal clothes and a woman, clearly their mother, was standing beside them, her hand rested upon Vivian's shoulder, she wore an intimidating dress, and a small veil covered half her head, tucked in under the large hat she wore over it.
Her lips were curled and thin, and her eyes were sharp, whoever she was back then, she was clearly high up in whatever she did.
"Perhaps this room will be mine one day, when Vivian leaves me in charge," Trale murmured to himself. "If." Trale looked to the door, Shelrair was standing there, "Oh Trale, you need to loosen up, you have a life of your own, all you do is work behind Vivian's shadow, follow a different path Trale, resign, let me carry some of your burdens."
Trale stood up and paced around the room, "I can't, Shelrair, you know why, we all have an oath to fulfill and follow, You, Me, Asmoday and Trale all took it, we're in this until the end," He replied.
"Then fake the end."
Trale spun around, shocked by Shelrair's words, "I will not lie to Vivian," He bluntly spat back, Shelrair turned away and sighed, "Fine by me, the speech was a success by the way, we have 36 new soldiers awaiting our orders," She mentioned before closing the door behind her loudly.
((Bitchy.))
Savannah narrowed her eyes, "I asked you a question..." ...Why bother? She ended her eye contact with Siberius and stared at the ground instead, as if something of importance had caught her eye, "Nevermind then. If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to. But at least do better than that - I was sure the Auder had enough food in stock for their most precious of guests. Or do you really think I'm that gullible, Feyanrer?" She wanted to turn and run off, but she stopped herself. This time she wanted to hear whatever else spilled forth from his mouth - part of her needing fuel for her rage and the other part wanting confirmation that she was exaggerating herself. It was a tug-of-war between emotions.
A top secret assault on the Palace... For the Organisation to be attempting something this reckless on their own is alarming... Serynn walked down the streets, Brelair's hand in her own, back towards the orphanage. And why was I chosen? The Sire didn't even show himself for such an important meeting... Perhaps so it wouldn't cause a fuss? Or perhaps because he was scared... She smiled at herself and shook her head, No, Serynn... Don't judge the Sire. He knows exactly what he is doing, beyond my knowing...
Kyou bathed in the silence of the empty room, lying on the ground and eyeing his wounds now and then, faintly pulsating with warmth and the slight press of pain. "It's quiet here... And I'm not sure if they've discovered my absence yet down home..." He placed a hand up to his chest, above where his lungs were situated, and breath out deeply, "It's probably risky to call Telum in these circumstances... And I'm probably getting ahead of myself anyway." He sat up and sighed, "Vivian Waurd... I find it so hard to believe you betrayed me... Vivian Waurd... You were so great a fighter... Damnit, Vivian... What could you possible want so badly...?"
Adira's Orphanage was brighter than others such as Wendt's, but the noise was atrociously annoying, especially to neighbours, most of whom had moved after the Demon War. It was situated in a place unaffected by the war, but to many, the presence of the orphanage had stained that privilige. Serynn unlocked the gate and led Brelair to the door. "Miss Adira! I've brought Brelair back! Can I have a moment?"
((Guardsohno))
Kitharis ran around the corner, slowing to a walk as he as he heard voices and screams heading down the street...
Ten minutes until they reach the house, at this rate... I have to get "Vivian" out.. There are so many things I still don't know...
"Ugh..." sighed Kitharis. "What to do... Hmmph..."
Kitharis ran around the back of a house, climbing up to a fence, thento a roof, and looked around for the fastest way to reach the house...
Kitharis swung back down from the roof, and preceded to run up through the alleyways leading towards the house... Kitharis looked out towards a byway, and saw some guards going in to a house...
He ran as hard as he could, and, after swinging over a fence, arived at the back door of the house... Kitharis fumbled for the key, unlocked the door, and rushed in... He rushed up stairs, and pulled a satchel full of gold coin from a cupboard. After tying it on, he rushed down stairs, looked at Kyou, and said
"We might have a problem... There are guards searching house to house... I don't know why they are, but they wouldn't be pleased to find me, or you, I imagine... Except for the jailers, of course."
"The guards do not bother me in the slightest, to be honest with you, Kitharis, nor would they have any plausible reason for searching for me, at least in this weather. If it's you they're after, you can go and I'll stay here. I rather like the feel this place has to it." Kyou spoke ignorantly, as he noticed Kitharis was acting paranoid, and Kyou wasn't going anywhere with a wanted, paranoid assasain. "Or you could hide somewhere in here, I'm sure the oh-so-mighty 'Brotherhood' has hiding places in their hideout, no?" Either way, Kyou wasn't budging. And if it WAS Kyou they were after, due to his encounter with Safroth earlier, he'd be able to kill them or get have a nice little chat, depending on which they prefered.
Kitharis relaxed.
"I guess I'm a little jumpy after seeing the guards... I broke free from jail only this afternoon, after all. And if the Brotherhood was "oh so mighty" then we would have got away with what was done, no?"
Kitharis sighed deeply.
Why am I so worried?
"All right... Well you will probably get questioned about the wounds... And some of the... Things... In the cupboards... I can't hide them all."
Kitharis looked around the room, and saw a cupboard marked "containers". He grabbed a sack and headed upstairs.
He headed through to the library, and moved a bookcase out from the wall,sliding in to the hollow behind it, then pulling the sack in, and heaved the bookcase shut.
The guards knocked at the door.
"Oh, sorry, she was a girl I met in the Forests, she's a friend of mine," SIberius replied, "And I meant just for us, the food that they have stored here isn't exactly new, and because I'm an Ex-Vizier I can freely walk about, I was just wondering if you wanted any fresh air and a good meal, that's all."
Montecore looked into Siberius' eyes, something had changed about him... He's detached. Montecore realised, He's detached himself from Savannah's memory losses, why would he do that? To rid of the pain? This is a problem that must be addressed, not ignored. I know how to. If only he could listen to me... Montecore moaned and ran his head through and under Savannah's hands, and then prodded around to Siberius and did the same, trying to get their attention, which was clearly being ignored.
"Just a girl, huh...?" Savannah sighed once more, still ignoring Siberius' eyes, "Why were you roaming the forests?" Savannah paid no attention to Montecore, not even noticing the messages he was attempting to convey as her mind felt pressured by the situation around her.
((Also, McKenzie is at the Descendants hideout, which I posted was in an Antique Store previously but you can change that if you want. He was asking for Vivian earlier, so yeah, when he gets there lemme know in a post.))
((Sure.))
"Well, I wasn't roaming...I live there," Siberius told her, "I've lived there all my life, it's kind of peaceful, away from civilisation, I only just got back when I found Montecore running around, he's the only reason I came back, really, that and you of course."
Montecore continued his attention-seeking strut.
Shelrair walked back along the dark corridors, almost skipping in her stride, she was pleased with her work today, her seeds of demise had been planted, And soon,She thought, I will finally get what I want. As she strode through, she hummed happily, until she got to the broad double-doors that led to the main dining hall, people everywhere came into sight as soon as she opened the doors.
Almost all with wine in their black, gloved hands, almost all with another member of the opposite sex, all except Shelrair. (Apparently, the Ancient's were horny little buggers).
The candles dripping from the large chandelier centered in the middle were flickering brightly, illuminating most of the room, but still giving it odd-shaped shadows. Vivian was there too, sitting down at a dark table, writing, no-one was near him, so Shelrair decided to approach him. "Hey Vivian, what're you writing?" She asked nicely, Vivian looked up from his writing slowly, almost not acknowledging her at all, "I have important documents that need signing, bother me some other time."
"But there's someone at the opening wanting you, some old fart I think," Shelrair told him, "Mckenzie? An Old Fart!?" Vivian snapped, getting up from his table, "You better start learning your place, Shelrair, or somebody else will be filling it." He snarled before rushing off to greet Father McKenzie.
Shelrair waited until he left the room, before leaning over and reading the papers that he had left in his rage. ((;D))
Kyou was not the best at acting... In fact, he wasn't good at it at all. He wandered to the door and opened it up, staring into the eyes of the guards with a serious expression on his own, "Yes? Is something the matter, sirs?" ((Silver can you please post as the NPCs kthx))
"What?" Savannah looked into Siberius' eyes this time, "What do you mean, 'and you'!? How did you know I would be here? I thought you told me you thought I was dead!" What if I am dead...? Savannah shook her head in annoyance, "S-Siberius! How can I believe anything you say when everything you say doesn't match up!?"
McKenzie stood anxiously waiting before the arrival of Vivian brightened his ebony eyes, "Oh... Vivian... I've been waiting..."
"Oh... Are you alright? I wanted to know if I could have a moment..." Serynn looked around for a bit, making sure no-one else was around before she spoke in a harsh whisper, "It's about the boy they apparantly call 'Mini'... Is he inside?"
