Kitharis walked into the main room, seeing the "Sire" sitting with a grieving look on his face.
"I take it that everything is NOT okay, eh, Sire?" Kitharis said. He was slightly miffed that the "Sire" had not noticed his presence coming in to the room like usual. I wonder what could shake a person as cold as him...

Kyou suppressed the urge to scream at his newest acquiantance. "I'm... In the middle of my exercises," he lied, gasping for breath.
"Guests and work crew 2 have arrived, sir. The Empress' Maidservants have disembarked safely and are inside the foyer. Our beloved Empress is safely enjoying the comfort of her own rooms once more. Phase 1 of the mission complete." Safroth smiled and saluted, "Thank you, officer. Continue the good work." "Yes, sir." Elle's back safely... And yet so is Bowen. Safroth pitied himself, Life likes to spit on me. Serves me right for falling in love with my best friend. Shaking the disturbances from his mind, he exited the throne room and toward his offices.
Purea Rose beamed under the grandeur of it all. As her coach wheeled away (the first caoch she had ever been priviliged enough to board, mind you), the lesser servant girls and boys danced and performed the tossing of the violet petals to the music and the trumpets, continually blaring their welcoming music as more and more coaches arrived. The tossing of the violet petals were a tradition that, unbeknownst to all but a very few, held it's roots in the very ancients of the land on which the Palace now stood. However, as it were adopted by the early settlers, to the vast population who knew of its significance, it was Immestrian, and that's all that mattered.
The water continued to cascade down the intricate decorations on the palace grand entrance as Purea was welcomed up the stairs. She realised that today was an important event. Not only were the Empress and her consorts arriving back home, but also attending were honourable guests for the welcoming festivities, feasts and dances. It was to be a big night, and as Purea worked in the Palace, she already knew she'd be up cooking and washing all night. It was nice to be recieving hospitality of such nature, rather than giving it as usual. "Excuse me, madam." Purea, not realising she had stopped on the stairs, soaked in the moment, did not look up. "Madam... Excuse me. Madam?" The servant boy was almost on top of her when she finally realised what was happening. "Oh? Me?" "Madam, please welcome yourself inside. The ceremony must continue at a steady pace. I'm sorry you could not enjoy the scenery to it's full extent." Purea roused herself, "No, no... Sorry, I'll welcome myself in." The servant boy nodded and hurried off. It was busy. The wide doors to the Palace Entrance brimmed with glory. No-one could tell that just nights ago, a terror that threatened Empress Harvery's vow of peace had tore up the walls right in this very spot. As she entered, the initial feeling of wonder left her for a stuffy interior atmosphere and hundreds of loud murmurings and voices. She sighed, "There's no place like home, right?" "Mumma!" Purea did not look up this time, either. She was used to being no more a person than the walls in this place. Fern flung her arms around Purea's waist, alarming her greatly. Purea, initially startled, burst out laughing. "Fern, dear... I haven't properly talked to you in ages!" "Mum..." Purea laughed, "Come on, come on, let's get out of the way, people will be wanting to get in!"

exercises, eh...? I guess it's none of my business....
"Ah, exercises.... Well, try not to strain yourself.... I guess if we are going to eat tonight, I should go shopping."
Without waiting for an answer, Kitharis left the house, and headed out towards the markets.

Vivian finally walked through his doors and into his office, and was shocked to see the three of them there, Asmoday, Shelrair, and of course Jezebel, all were waiting for him, Asmoday was sitting in his twin brother's armchair, Jezebel was sitting at another chair to the side of the office, getting a massage from Shelrair, who several minutes ago had asked Jezebel if The Demon of Knowledge herself would know what a massage feels like, Jezebel, obviously curious, asked what one is.
Vivian frowned as he saw Jezebel in a trance-like state with Shelrair getting some sort of pleasure from it, ignoring those two, he walked up to Asmoday. "I'm guessing..." Vivian began, looking back at Shelrair and Jezebel again, "Everything went fine?"
Asmoday just stared blankly with his usual, bleak eye, hardly even moving, he just nodded slightly. Asmoday never really connected with people much, growing up in the Organisation, it was his brother who was respected and popular, Asmoday just wandered in his shadow, and because of those memories, he found it difficult to talk to Vivian, he did, though, talk to Shelrair a lot, she was one of the only people he truly cherished, while Trale, Vivian and John were given much attention from the children, and got to participate in games, Asmoday and Shelrair simply didn't feel bothered to and sat out, just talking.
Vivian came closer to Asmoday, "What does she know? Is it true? That she has ALL earthbound knowledge?" Vivian whispered with excitement, Asmoday paused before speaking, "Yes, although, because this is her first Shell, she isn't quite familiar with human activities," Asmoday slowly spoke, human activities was an understatement, Jezebel was only just able to walk up from the Shrine on two feet.
Vivian stood before Jezebel and bowed his head, "Good day, Demon, it is an honor to stand before a Demon of such...such incredible calibre, I hope you will soon learn all about your new body and it's World," Vivian told her, slightly exasperated.
Jezebel had her eyes closed, whatever Shelrair was doing, she truly was a very leisurable human, in Jezebel's eyes. But as soon as Vivian spoke the word 'demon,' she opened her eyes, much more darkened then before, "Don't...call me that..." Jezebel replied coarsely yet elegantly, "Call me Jezebel, for that IS my name."
Vivian's eyes narrowed, as did Jezebel's.
Shelrair giggled lightly, as if someone had told her a joke, "Not very good with first impressions are you, Vivi?" She laughed. Vivian's eyes now had widened completely, his mouth was twitching in anger, Vivian began walking up closer to Shelrair, his arm beginning to raise...
Jezebel stood up in front of Shelrair, her eyes were set upon him, hardly moving at all.
"Move! Demon! How DARE you stand in my way!?" Vivian spat, disgustingly horrified. "I only take orders from my resurecctor, that, or my self," Jezebel said firmly. Vivian stepped back, clearly, to him, this demon was a disgrace to her spiritual heritage, the words she spoke were like daggers to his soul, each chilling word she spoke caused him to obey to her demands, this is what caused Vivian to get so angry, he was their superior, yet he was talked down to like a slave.
Vivian wiped the look of absolute hatred from his face and relaxed into his usual, misleading smile, "Sorry to anger everyone, things haven't been going too well at the moment, things still need necessary preparation for the attack, so we must go, everyone must see our new...vanguard...of the Descendants."
Jezebel liked that name...Jezebel, the Vanguard of the Descendants, The Demon of Knowledge and the new heir of grasping the-
Jezebel was distracted in thought by Shelrair holding up her arm beside her, "Let's go, Jezebel." Jezebel tilted her head and wondered what to do, "Why is your arm held out?" She asked. Shelrair laughed again. "Jezebel! You put your arm through it, and then we are connected, kinda like a walking hug!" She explained simply. Jezebel smiled and put her arm through Shelrair's, and together, with Asmoday and Vivian walking in front of them, they left to reveal themselves to the rest of the Descendants...
Siberius walked back through the Palace, Those workers sure did a good job, he noted as he walked down the corridors that looked almost exactly like the ones he walked down before. He turned to see Bowen down the other end of the corridor, discussing matters with Private Starshield and Severon.
Siberius smiled and approached them, in need of a good conversation, or at least a debate. "Good day," Siberius said, walking up to the threesome, Bowen shook his hand abruptly and Private Starshield and Severon simply waved, "What is it you're talking about?" Siberius asked, "It's the Thurguals," Bowen replied blankly. Siberius hadn't heard their name in a long time, those barbaric creatures that are slowly terrorizing small villages attached to The Great Plains, pillaging for more weapons and treasures. "What about them?" Siberius finally asked, "I think a plan of attack is in order," Bowen said, "Which is absolute stupidity," Severon quickly replied, Bowen ignored what Severon had said, "We need Central safe, with that Demon Child gone and all dangers safely resolved, the only thing that threatens this Cities peaceful walls are those things."
"We're safer WITHIN the walls then outside them!" Severon yelled, "And risk the lives of all the women and children!? To risk the destruction of this place!? To allow more villages to be burnt to the ground!? NO! I will not stand for this! I am Vizier and I am deciding what the military will do! We will attack the Thurguals at full throttle!" Bowen replied back, stamping his foot on the ground at the end of his lecture and storming off, leaving the other three with an awkward silence.
"Y'know, I kinda like these clothes," Violet said, trying on one of the Maidservants' official clothes. "Yeah, and we are aloud to add accessories and take some things away," One of the maidservants said, pointing to the knee-long skirt that would look dreadful on even the most beautiful of women.
"Good pay too." "Yeah and the shifts are alright as well." "Of course, they're several hours long, but we get several hours of breaks too!"
Violet ignored their comments on how great it was to clean an Empress' toilet seat, and thought about Siberius, and Montecore, and that disruptive woman who is claimed to be Siberius' little sweetheart. Thinking of Siberius, though, Reminded her that she hadn't seen him in a while, and how she wanted to.

((I was loling in real life ever since the words "Private" and "Starshield".))
Savannah was finally admitted to an actual room. There was still a guard outside, but it was a room nonetheless. A small window the width of her head and the length of her arm stretched across the center of the room, allowing natural light in. On the plain table backed against the wall there lay a single sheet of blank paper, and beside it, ink and nib. On the right corner of the table sat a red pot, housing some quaint flowers, none of which she knew the names of. Her clothes had been taken to be washed, and these had been replaced with loosely-fitting white robes that felt uncomfortable to her. There was a bed on either side of the table, both clad in thin, white sheets with a comfortable-looking pillow at the head. She knew nobody else was staying with her, though. But at least I'm not locked up anymore. She had been told the guard would alert her when her 'free time' was available. The Palace was huge, and although she felt honoured to be allowed to wander it's non-restricted floors, she still felt unfamiliar with it all.
She flopped down onto the bed. It wasn't comfy. I feel like a drained cloth. Turning her head to eye the plant, she felt somewhat better about herself. "Sucks to be you, right?" The plant didn't respond. Sighing, Savannah sat up and hugged the pillow to her body, wondering why it was so much more comfortable than the rest of the room. Knockings halted her train of thought. "Umm, yes?" The door opened, "Savannah Serwood, good afternoon. I've come to ask if you'd like a tour of the premises?" Savannah blinked at the young boy in the doorway before sighing, "Sure." She felt like a ghost on her robes, but she consented. it wasn't her fault, after all.
Kyou sat in silence for too long. Vivian... What has he done? What is he planning? Why? Am I hopeless? Am I too late? What's going on? Where is Serenfas? Am I not their Sire? Was I being used all along? He felt as though his thoughts taunted him, and he grew angry at himself. The power was still there, and a fleeting butterfly sensation still lingered in his stomach. Eventually, he got up and paced around the floor. ...Then proceeded to the lower floor. ...Then proceeded to the door. "What happens if I leave?" he muttured to himself, unsure of whether he still felt sane or not. It was all questionable.
Safroth wandered down the hall to Siberius' room when he was suddenly bulldozed into. "Ugh..." "Safroth, sorry..." It was Bowen. Safroth smiled, "In a hurry?" Bowen frowned, "...Not particularly." "What's the matter?" "I'll tell you later." He pushed past Safroth and began walking again. Wow... He killed the mood alright.

Siberius left Private Starshield and Severon alone in that corridor, and walked off around another corner, he enjoyed his walk, it was one of the only ones he had that was rather peaceful, despite the argument that he had to experience between the Bowen and Severon.
Siberius continued walking, until once again he was distracted, this time, it was two, heavy, wooden doors that were situated opposite him. He opened one slightly and peeked through, before opening it completely when he realised it was nothing of much danger nor importance.
It was a library. It had several levels, each one filled with armchairs and small tables, with of course, several bookshelves lined up according to their contents. Reading would probably clear my mind anyway. He searched through the different floors and read the descriptions of each row, until he came across one that plainly read: History.
History was Siberius' fascination, he wasn't sure why, but he enjoyed reading about the past of Immestrial and it's inhabitants, mainly because he knew that he is Descended from people who were much more well-known and common those days. He sat down with several different books at one of the armchairs on that floor, and was about to begin reading when he realised something...
This place... He thought, Savannah came here once, we both did... He paused in thought for a moment, thinking back to when the two of them were in here, No... He shook away the thoughts. There's no point lingering on matters like this, just do what you were here for.
He sighed before opening the first book he found, labeled Immestrian Diplomats.

Kitharis walked through the marked, looked along the road, and saw the palace in the distance.
I never even got to go in there... Ah, well maybe the opportunity will arise someday....
He turned back to the grocers, and walked in. He began to buy the groceries...

((Does Siberius KNOW he skipped through time? I thought that hadn't occurred to him yet :F))
"Kitharis..." Kyou whispered at the door. I can't leave without him... I can't go on my own... I can't let Vivian continue... "Damnit... Why do you like shopping so much?"
Savannah walked down a large spiral staircase with her attendant, feeling nothing familiar, but imagining she should. Everything was so intricately designed. She tried to take it all in, but in the grandeur and her mind still sitting on the events of late, she felt kind of hassled as she observed. "These are the Imperial Gardens." Savannah looked up to see they stood in front of a giant, round window with a blood red, cushioned lounge in front. She smiled in recognition. "You aren't going to take a look? The Gardens are forbidden to most. It is an honour to appreciate them, even from this viewing spot." Savannah swallowed and stepped up to the lounge and crawled upon it's seat. The sunlight that pooled in was bright and almost perfectly laid out on top of them. The gardens underneath weren't surprising in their beauty, as she expected them to be, but perhaps there was some kind of memory of them latched onto her brain somewhere through the webs of confusion that were spun. The attendant, looking slightly disappointed after 5 minutes of no comment at the window, sighed, "Beautiful, yes?" "Mmm." He looked down, "Well, you don't seem to be enjoying yourself, miss. Do you need some time to rest?" "...I think I've had too much rest, to tell you the truth." "Oh? What do you do for fun, then?" Savannah turned to face him, "I... Guess I like to walk the streets. And watch the vendors preparing their meals to sell. I love the smells, you know?" Her attendant just nodded and said nothing, thinking about how such a commoner wound up in the Palace. "What about reading?" Savannah blinked, "Hm? Oh, I don't know." "Would you like me to show you the library?" "I'm not the guide here," Savannah responded somewhat rudely. The attendant got up, "Come on, then. Follow me."
Cooks and waitresses bustled and yelled, their voices creating a disturbance that hardly compared to the other rooms at the moment. Fern sat up on a plain chair placed in the corner beside her mother, drinking the chocolate with tiny sips as she and her mother talked. "I hadn't even heard about that!" Purea was utterly shocked when she learned of Fern's involvement in the last military mission in correspondance with the Dawn Team. Fern nodded. "Oh, dear... Everything is going well, isn't it, Fern?" "Of course!" Fern smiled, "Empress Harvery is a kind woman, even if she hides it. I think... We get along well. I would even go as far to say we're... Maybe even friends." "Oho, is that so? My little Fern, I tell you, you have your life set. Why, I would never imagine you or anyone from our family in your position. I suppose our ancestors' toils in the Palace grounds for centuries has paid off!" Fern smiled and nodded. "You know," whispered Purea, "Your kids might even grow up to Emperors or Empresses themselves!" Fern looked shocked, "Kids!? Mumma!?" Purea laughed. She really loved her daughter.

Montecore trotted over silently, the pads on his feet making him completely quiet, which surprised Siberius when he jumped onto another armchair and began snoozing on it, enjoying the peace and quiet. "Good morning, Montecore," Siberius smiled, Montecore purred and turned around on the armchair.
Siberius laughed and went back to reading.

Savannah watched as the servant pushed open the doors, and was immediately hit with an unfamiliar feeling... Nostalgia.
The way the shelves were positioned, the stiarways leading up and down to the different levels, the intricate detailing on the entrance and even the smell... It all felt... Like it was a part of her. "Th-Thank you... This.... This shall do for now." "Hmm? There's still so much more to see!" "I can find my way back, thank you." "You can still co-" "I can find my way back. Thank you." "...Yes." Savannah stood in the doorway, trying to soak it all in. Her heartbeat reflected her sudden excitement, and she took shaky steps inside, back where she once used to spend all her time. She couldn't remember it... Or any of the times she had... But it felt familiar. And she knew exactly where she had to go.
