((I realise this situation is critical, therefore I am posting twice in a row))
Safroth's mouth was open wide.
The group ran off screaming and yelling.
Safroth's outstretched arm felt too heavy for him to hold, so it automatically lowered.
He didn't know what to say, nor what to feel.
"V-Vizer!? This is the wrong way" panted the Officer that had just caught u[p with him.
Vizier Safroth stood deathly still.
"Vi-Vizier Safroth?" the Officer asked again, disturbed by the lack of response from the Vizier
Safroth felt the gun slip through his fingers and hit the cold ground hard.
"Not... The right... Way?" he felt himself mimicking, and in that moment he realised the extent of his mistake. His legs felt like all the force had been sucked clean from them, they fell weak and he felt his body collapse on the ground, sitting on his legs.
"VIZIER, ARE YOU ALRIGHT!?" the Officer yelled furiously as he rushed to Safroth's side.
"I... I was a fool" Safroth muttured. He felt a hundred different emotions flood through his heart as he spoke, "I... Killed a civilian"
The Officer watched on with a look of confusion, but it quickly passed, "I don't know what you mean, Vizier, but you must hurry!"
He pulled Safroth upwards, but even though Safroth resisted, his body was too weakened to stay down. He subconsciously retrieved his gun from the cold ground below him as he stood.
He turned and followed the Officer, he had to clear his mind now, just as Eleanore has done. His mission was more important than his emotions.
A teardrop.
A clock ticked in the background.
"Savannah..."Link stared down at her and she stared back, she floated up to him, she floated through his eyes of green, and she imagined herself in the most beautiful forest she had ever seen, she was alone.
Savannah...? That's right... The boy called me that.
Is that my name...?She kept floating past, she felt a presence somewhere around her, but she couldn't pinpoint where.
She kept floating into the blackness of the abyss that followed.
She lost all her physical feelings.
She saw a single body, lying there in the darkness.
"Who are you?" she asked the body, but he didn't respond.
He floated in the nothingness as though it were water around him.
The clock began to dong loudly, she opened her eyes...
"Savannah? Savannah!?" Rine yelled, seeing she had awakened. The crowd grew even more frightened, more ran and only a few remained to look on.
Celeste saw Rine above her, she felt like she could trust him...
She began to reach out... But a scream escaped her lips.
Rine's eyes widened and he suddenly felt very attached to the woman in front of him, "SAVANNAH!? SAVANNAH!?"
Celeste felt a searing pain inside her chest. She lowered her eyes and she saw her tattoo, the one she had always had but never recognised, burning on her skin. She let out another scream and lefted her head in agony.
Link stared, wide eyed at the scene in front of him, not knowing what to do. He too feared for Celeste's life.
The mark on her skin burned off and suddenly melted into the air around her.
She stopped screaming.
Everyone turned silent.
"........S-Savannah?"
"Why do you call me this?" she asked the boy,
"It's your name isn't it?" Rine replied, confused
"How do you know me?"
"I... I don't know... I just feel it. I can't remember anything after the War, but... I remember your name"
Celeste felt pity for the boy, she nearly even smiled. He was like her. he had forgotten when others had remembered. She knew he had something to do with her and she nodded, "You are right. That is my name"
Safroth stumbled dully into the crowd before him, the Officer stopped and stared, wide-eyed,
"VIZIER, THEY WEREN'T CONSCIOUS EARLIER!"
Safroth held his gun up clumsily, but he knew he couldn't fire. Not after what he had just done.
Rine stared at Safroth. He felt strange.
He thought he knew Safroth, from somewhere... But he couldn't taker any chances. This man was going to shoot them.
"Savannah!" Rine yelped, he turned and faced her, grabbing her hand
Savannah felt confused for a moment, but allowed herself to be raised
"STOP!" yelled the Officer
"RUN!" Rine yelled in response.
The two of them took off behind the crowd and ran on into the streets.
The crowd yelled in anger and began to advance. Link growled at them, but felt confused himself.
He had not remembered this boy. Where did he come from?
Link growled in confusion and in a second bolted off in the direction the two had gone.
