Part 1:
The last thing I felt
Was the cold
As it ate up all feeling,
It ate up all the pain,
And embraced me.
My eyes opened slightly.
My hand grabbed what felt like warm grass, but I was too scared to turn my head and see.
And snapped my eyes shut, I trembled a little...
'M-Morning' I mouthed.
"Mmmmorning..."
I pushed myself upright and re-opened my eyes, my ears twitching as the first verse of a nearby bird's song begun to drift along the wind.
