My favourite console game series is Final Fantasy.
My favourite overall game is Final Fantasy VIII (PSX), with Final Fantasy IX (PSX) behind that, and Shin Megami Tensei Persona 3 (PS2) in third place.
I'm sure I've said this hundreds of times, though.

You did leave out a great many popular series, such as the Smackdown Vs Raw series and Ratchet & Clank series which have both been and are still childhood favorites of mine.

Right now my favorite game is Prototype. Assassin's Creed is also a very good game, and the sequel is coming out this year.

Ratchet and Clank has just about no story, and it gets worse as the series progresses.
Also I just dislike the gameplay.
