wow off topic much alrighty thne drawing it back to God in our own lives, lets have a look at the themes of mercy and grace and how they apply../
first off what is mercy and how does it differ from grace?

in a nutshell mercy is not giving you what u do deserve whereas grace is giving you what you dont deserve
So how do these themes relate to our walk with God

Exactly right.
Grace - What do we deserve? Nothing, we are horrible sinners. God gave us this world and most importantly, his son Jesus who died so that we could live.
Mercy - What do we deserve? probably to die, I mean the things we do like oh my goodness, seriously. What does God give us? Life, family, friends, everything we need to live.
