Welcome to the God in my Life thread, i hope that there will be lots of quality discussions and i pray that u would be able to grow in God through this. Fell free to argue or attack watever I say as theres a good chance that I'm wrong. Alrighty lets get down to it shall we???
Ok First of All, we are following Jesus but what does that mean. Luke Chapter 9:23 says "Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me"
What do yuo think this means?

That we can't put ourselves first? And that we should put the lord first?

Would it mean, we have to remember what he went through every day, pray to him, take up the Bible every day and read it, or something along those lines?

alrighty then i'll give you a hand, when Jesus said this it is believed that he meant that we should be helping to furthur the impact of his death on our lives, increasing the significance of his sacrifice in our lives through as farrelei put so well remembering God, praying to him and reading the bible everyday

i dont understand the question.....y wouldnt this thread be here?
alrighty time for a somethin else.......
Matthew 22: 35-37 "One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."
What does this mean and how can we apply it to our lives?

love god and put these commandfments as the base of your life,
when face \d with a decision, ndecide on what it is thta god would want, and when challenmd\ged remember to put your lif out for jesus, \to help otheres, like bjesus did, by that\, as the previous verse said, take up your cross, or take up your own efforts and build your fqaiuth
suffer for your faith and stand up for god
bring all to jesus
