Well I found out that a great great uncle of mine died of a broken heart. My Dad was like" Thats stupid" But it got me thinking.
I mean you hear about it in books and movies.
If the Love of your life, the person who ment the whole world to you died or was killed what would you do?

It depends, I think If you do suicide because you brake up with someone, that counts not that I would do that

No, they die because they have convinced them selves there is nothing left for them.

A person dying of a broken heart? Well, it all depends, people don't just die if they become sad enough. Elves do though. But, if a person committed suicide after the break up, I guess that would be dying, BECAUSE of a broken heart. But not because their heart metaphorically broke.

yes but if they had of had the help and support of someone then it might not have ended the same way.. it depends on the individual circumstance i guess

Technicaly, if your heart breaks, you die seconds later.
but a great loss, such as mentioned, could drive someone insane, and an extremely dissapointed insane person might commit suicide, what the need is, as said, help to recover from the shock, and pass from it, through the grief, but to not go insane.
