I thought this was an interesting debate topic of which many christians argue on even way up in the tops of the church....
so i will say that i wont express my opinion because this is an issue that is best made up by urself and through prayer...... however if u have a question (thats not to hard) i'd be willing to answer it......im gonna use a google define so theres no prejudice
So without any furthur adue....IIIiiinnnnn the red corner we have.....Calvinism
which as defined by the wikitionary is: "The Christian doctrines by which Emphasis is placed on the sovereignty of God, and one distinctive of the system is its doctrine of predestination, which teaches that a special few are predetermined for salvation by God"
And in the blue corner weeeeee haavvveee Arminianism
which as defined bywww.gervaselucas.org.uk/glossary.html is "School of theological thought that emphasized free will over predestination,"
discuss, critize, argue(dont be mean though) and question eveything with ur own readings and prayer...

are we destined to heaven, or do we have free choice about it all, i belive that we have free choice, that we will make the choice and that will be it, our decision is our destiny, we choose our destiny, our choices form it

interesting q but i can evace the question by saying that the power of God goes beyond the realms of our understanding....however what i was getting at back there was that if God has the power and the knowledge of how to put people who never even hear the gospel or those who completely rejsect him then y doesnt he use it?

Well this is how I see it. God sent Jesus Christ to save the world and all who live in it. Correct? So if predestination was a true fact of Christianity, then why did Jesus come to save us? Why was the Bible written? Why do any of us even talk about Christianity? Because 'hell, God is going to save a selected few, so why bother with the rest of it? It just doesn't make sense. The Bible gives so many references to "saving the lost sheep" and etc., every bit of evidense in this discussion brings to one senior point; that God wants to save all of us. Why would God only want a selected few saved? I'll say it again, it just doesn't make any sense.
