I found this film to be incredible, with the huge credits and impressive CGI, it is the most expensive film yet, It took near a decade to be compleated, and is one amazingly incredible film.
I have heard mention of there being a 2nd AVATAR.

You should, jake! Definately ties first place on my favourite movie list with Pan's Labyrinth. But Shwoo-kun, it's not the most expensive movie. Titanic is still the most expensive film ever made, but it was made by the same guy, so you were close ;P

Actually no, I was wrong, Titanic got the highest amount of money back I think. Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End is the most expensive movie ever, and Avatar is 4th most expensive. Titanic is 10th most expensive.

I am sorry for your misfortune. There is a pandorapedia, I find it amusing.

Lol yay, and as for Shwoo's edit, yes there is plans for a 2nd (and third!?) Avatar, but Cameron's next movie will be Battle Angel, based on the manga Alita Battle Angel =D

Second and third? That sounds pretty epic, but how would the story work out?
Also, I played the game, and it was actually pretty fun. The story is set 20 years before the movie, and you play as the first ever Avatar. But it conflicts with some stuff from the movie.

Shoowzar: "It took near a decade to be compleated"
It was in production for around 15 years, wasn't it? Well, The creator came up with the Idea that long ago, just wasn't able to create it due to lack'f appropriate resources.
Freaking tasty movie, though. Loved every minute. And the Navi girl was hawt.

Mmm... James Cameron actually had the idea for the Na'vi in the late 70's, I think. The film was originally going to be released in 1999, but James Cameron said the technology needed to catch up. And they started on it in 1994. Well, wrote the basic script.
