For all those who wanted me to explain Bioshock to them I will gladly do it now, and better then I did it in tech, here I can gather my thoughts before typing...
And one thing before we start... BIOshock.......BIOmanic, I didn't copy, I was Biomanic before Bioshock...
Okay lets start, Now this is only for people who never intend to play the game, I am doing SPOILERS, so don't read this if you intend to play...
Okay, Bioshock is set in the 1960's, The world is going along with it's building of empires and cars and so forth... Kings rule, as do all people is control, such as prime ministers and presidents, Like today...
One man hated this, Andrew Ryan, he dreamed of a world without Gods, Kings or rulers, Only Man.
Where everyone was free. These are his words:
I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question:
Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?
No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.
I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something
different. I chose the impossible. I chose...
Rapture.

Rapture is a world he decided to build under the Sea, Sounds impossible? Well everyone said that, and everyone called him crazy, and by alot of means they were right...
But moving along, The city gets built and it was like alot of other cities, proud, and self serficiant, About this time it was about 1954, before the game is set.
The town is prosperous for a while, and very efficient, So much so, it was better then any city above the surface of the ocean. This made Andrew Ryan very pleased with himself, And without knowing it, he became the ruler of Rapture over night... And became everything he hated.
He started to pass out laws, like no stealing, and so forth, things that are just commonsense, But he created a new law, That No one (NO ONE) could communicate with the surface. If one broke this law, it was considered to be more serious then if someone mass murdered orphans.
Now this law made smuggling things into Rapture from the surface profitable, and so a number of smugglers started up a sort of black market.
The Black market was set up in a place called Fonatine Fisheries.
A type of fishing ground, used to supply Rapture with food (obviously).
Fontaine, The head honcho of the Fisheries, Was also the head of the smuggling, and He wanted What Andrew Ryan wanted no one else to ever have, Control of Rapture, And with the amount of followers and so forth that he had, he could have it if he wanted it.
But we will get back to that later.
Another thing was happening In rapture, With some of the worlds best scientists with no boundaries to hold them back, they created, Serums and so forth that were able to change ones genetic code and give them super human abilities. These Gene things came in three flavors, Plasmids, A sort of sereto, Or seringe, that you could use to give you abilities like Telecanisis, used for work and so forth, Another was Gene tonics, These came in two types, Physical and Combat types. Physical would make you better at certain things like hacking and running, and Combat tonics did what you'd think they would.
Most of these un-godly things were created for a reason, they were made for work, and all of them had logical and useful reasons for existing.
But when Civil war broke out in Rapture Between Fontaine and Andrew, they were used for combat, New plasmids came about, like Incinerate, The Ability to shoot fire from your wrists, and ect...
When the war began, Andrew had fontaine killed... This of course, shattered his forces and made him loose the war, but not for long, as a young spiffing new guy comes and takes his place, Atlas (best character in the game).
At this point Rapture when to hell, Fontaines people went around stealing and smuggling, Andrews men went around Killing, and everyone went insane.
Now All of Rapture is full of splicers, ( the noun of the verb to Splice, Splice is the "doing word" of useing Plasmids)
Due to overdose of Plasmids, people are going insane...
The world all goes to caos on new years eve 1959, which about 5 months later, brings the main character, Jack to the game.
You play as Jack, A man destined for great things, Including Turbulence.
As the plane you are in at the start of the game, goes down in the middle of the atlantic sea, you find you are the only survivor, and relatively un-harmed.
As you reach the surface, you notice a light house in the distance, due to liniar plane reckage, the game forces you to the light house.
There you find a nicely placed bathosphere, a type of submarine. It takes you down to 400 fathoms, below the surface, At this point a sort of infomertial comes on and that is were Andrew Ryan gives you the speech, I told you at the top of the post.
As you get to the loading dock in rapture, you notice how bad rapture has gotten, with the first scene you see there is someone outside your submarine gets brutally murdered. At this point Atlas calls you on a short wave radio that is int he submarine, he gets you out of there safely, Up to the medical pervilian, A hospital area...
As you go he tells you of his family, and how they are trapped and how you are the only one who can help them...
So after splicing millions of times, and gainging some unnatural abilitles, which you have the ability to switch around at any gene bank around Rapture, you make your way to help Atlas and his family. You do this because he promises you a way out of Rapture, and he asks you nicly, Will you kindly help me?
THIS IS THE END OF PART ONE, IF YOU WANT MORE, POST HERE, THERE WERE NO SPOILERS IN THIS ONE, BUT THERE WILL BE IN LATER ONES, I AM GOING TO SPLIT THIS UP INTO A TRILOGY, IF YOU PEOPLE WANT ME TO CONTINUE.
