Licorice followed the two suspiciously, towards the old pile of ash, tin and pile of other junk scraps. Licorice was saddened by their idea of a home, and truly hoped that they were actually just about to enter a secret fishing hole or something, because if they were going to sleep here, Licorice would not. He yowled at the scrap heap and meowed sadly.

"I hate cats." Farran said. "I'm not feeding him."

Harrow looked down to the cat, "He seems pretty good to feed himself, after all he's probably survived on his own for a while now," Harrow replied, before looking up again to the small, rubble-filled shak. "Umm, is there anywhere else we could stay?" Harrow asked, desperate to find a place with just the slightest amount of decency.

Licorice decided he didn't like the hobo-man. The other guy seemed alright though, but you could never tell with humans. He looked back into the sky, curious as to where the birds had gone. He had decided they were baddies, which doubled as food. Suddenly he realised he was hungry, so he meowed a slight meow.

Harrow groaned and turned around again, "The only food I have is some bits of meat, I was saving it for tonight, but I guess you can have some if you need to," Harrow told Licorice, placing the bits of meat onto the ground in an impatient manner.

Licorice stared at the meat for a second, then up at Harrow. He shyly licked Harrow's finger in appreciation, then started to snaffle the meat in a spoiled manner.

Harrow's impatient and pointy face turned into a slight smile, then into a peaceful smirk as he placed his palm on the top of the little cat's head and stroked it.
Soon it was nightfall, and after a snap of Harrow's fingers, they had a fire going, and sheltered underneath a collapsed wagon, they slept.
"Oh Razzy, Razzy!" Came a chilling call inside Razi's spire, hidden high above the clouds atop a mountain. Razi greeted the newly arrived Alicia as she entered Razi's chambers, "Wow, your living every child's dream, living on a giant mountain with metamorping birds at your disposal," Alicia smiled.
"...And hello to you too," Razi replied, "I trust you had a safe travel?" "Safe enough. What is it you wanted me to do exactly?" Alicia asked sitting down at a fireplace.

((Weird. That's really weird. Where'd all the crows go? D: ))
Licorice decided to let this night pass before decided any more on these new travelling companions he had met - Fireman and Mr. Hobo. The warmth of the fire was a calm a beautiful blanket in the cold night air, as Licorice shut his small eyes softly and soon enough he too fell into a dream.

((Alrighty.))
Licorice awoke. He didn't feel like he had gotten much sleep. It was still dark, but he could tell the Sun would rise in about an hour or so. The fire was gone, leaving blackened chunks of ash and wood in it's place. It was a cold morning, but not too cold.
Licorice noted that neither of his new companions had yet awoken. As was a habit of his, he leapt off his resting place after a comfy stretch, and talk a gander around the city so that he could possibly find another morsel to devour.
He decided cities were much more interesting, and beautiful, without people.

Farran woke up and yawned. He sat up and saw Licorice. "Oh, its you," Farran said to the cat, "And what do you do, Oh my gosh Im talking to a cat."
