Farran looked back at the track behind them. "I dont recognise anything here." Farran said with a worried tone in his voice. The three kept wandering along the old muddy track when they then came across a fork in the road. "I don't remember this at all. Harrow, have you been this way before?"

Harrow got even more worried. "I'm..." He stuttered, "I don't think I have, but I'm certain that whatever my Clover used to be, it has been here, but, things change, especially now, who knows whats been going on..." "Which way should we go? I'm certain this is the way..."

Farran looked down the path. "I'm not sure if thats the right way." Farran said. "To be safe, you go that way and I'll go this way." Farran pointed to the left path. "Come on cat, you can follow me." "We'll meet back here in half an hour."

Harrow nodded, although he didn't like the plan, it was probably the best thing they could do at the moment. "Go on, kitty, follow Farran," Harrow said to the cat.

The cat didn't like being told what to do, but decided to comply and follow the meat man. Well, not really follow. He ran ahead of him.

Farran sighed as the cat ran past him. "Dont run too far kitty, dont want you to get lost." Farran grinned and started running after the cat.

Harrow nodded and took the other path, this one, clearly, was 'The Road Less Travelled,' the trees were even more twisted, and the earth beneath the wandering boy was cracked and desolate, like the remnants of an earthquake. This road, also, was a lot more windy, and the corners were sharp, as if it had shifted...
"I do like what you've done with the place, the last time I sat here with the others, it looked-" "I hope you've been well, Alicia," Razi spoke, interrupting her. Alicia chuckled, "I've been chased all across the country, it was fun, torturing humans, I acquired quite a lot of information from them too."
"Do go on," Razi urged, pouring her a glass of putrid-looking wine. Alicia sniffed at the liquid in the glass. "What is this?" She asked, the smell was not similar to other wines she had tasted. "It's Oak Wine, I find it more refreshing than Red or White," Razi replied, sounding like he was proud of himself and his own type of wine.
Alicia shrugged and took a sip, the taste WAS very unique, and refreshing, but whether she liked it more than the normal wine or not was difficult to say. "As you know, Razi, the humans are hiding themselves deeper and deeper into their Safe Places, soon enough, they will fear coming out onto the surface altogether."
Razi nodded. Alicia took another sip of the strange wine.
"I think, we should regather," Alicia announced. Razi jolted for a moment. "What? It's a perfectly reasonable idea, you and I are now back together, why not look for the rest of the Fallens?" Razi shook his head, "After the huge schism, none of them would ever dare to set foot in these quarters again."
Alicia laughed, "Razi, this is only one of many Safe Places, and besides, that whole thing is in the past now, remember? We're 2nd Generation," Alicia paused to take another sip of the wine, "Times are changing, the Clovers are gathering again, so should the Fallens."
"The Clovers are stronger than us, Gardener made sure of it," Razi told her in a disappointed tone of voice, before turning his back on her to pour himself a glass of Oak Wine. Alicia chuckled. "I wouldn't turn around too swiftly if I were you, Razi." Razi frowned.
Hesitantly, Razi took hold of his glass and turned around... There, only just touching his face, were thousands of needle-shaped icicles, levitating and all pointing at various parts of his body. Alicia chuckled yet again. "If you were a Clover. You'd be dead the moment you even tried to defend yourself," Alicia laughed, "We're just as strong as them, the new Clovers don't even know the extent of their powers, I created these spikes with the small glass of wine you gave me, imagine what I can do with more."
"Of course you can do that, your powers are made for killing," Razi told her. Alicia walked slowly up to Razi, and as she did, the icicles reverted back into her glass, and back into the liquid it once was. "Anything...Can kill. If you give it the opportunity. Paper can kill, if you shove it down the throats of helpless victims, leaves can kill, if you cut the throat of a child with them at just the right, razor-sharp angle, you see? Everything, and anything, can be designed to kill, but let's just keep that secret," Alicia told him.
"Your powers over darkness may not seem deadly, but you control how much I can see, by using your abilities to completely blacken this room, I would be unable to know where you are, and thus I would be unable to kill you with those wine icicles."
Razi nodded. "Maybe you're right, if we use our powers to the way we had always were created to do so, we can overcome any Clover that dares to stop us, once we regather with the others, we must rid the earth of any Clovers and their allies, and then look for The Gardener's Greenhouse," Razi started. "And create new Fallen Clovers, and with them, begin a new world," Alicia finished.
"To leading our own lives," Razi said, raising his wine glass toward Alicia. Alicia smiled and nodded, before raising hers and clinging the two, the sound echoing throughout the empty rooms of one of The Gardener's Safe Places.img100.imageshack.us
